Qi Gong is a healing art that helps refocus and energise the mind, body and spirit. It is a wonderful way to re-connect to the body’s natural rhythms and to relax, especially in such a fast-paced world. Studies have shown numerous health benefits too. I have practiced Qi Gong with Sukh for nearly three years, and appreciate it's qualities. I have also met some beautiful people, some who have become very good friends. Over the last two years, I have had the opportunity to enjoy a Qi Gong retreat, hosted by Sukh. Located in a small hotel/spa in the middle of nowhere outside Marrakech, the venue is perfect to escape the real world and switch off. One of the main attractions is the host - Sukh Parmar - she is sincere, creative, adaptable and caring and everyone who participates is rewarded with a retreat to remember with warm memories. This particular retreat included generous time primarily working with QiGong but also providing opportunities to try some yoga, lying down Tai Chi, Shakti dancing, spiritual healing techniques and other healing arts practiced in both India and the Far East.  I would thoroughly recommend this retreat to anyone who has practiced Qi Gong and encourage anybody to try it to see the benefits. – Sarah, Hitchin

Being in Morocco for Sukh's retreat was an experience of being immersed in a rich, warm and profound stillness. I was able to be in deep connection with my innermost heart, and felt a deep sense of oneness, of being infused with divine love. It was my first experience of Qigong and on the first day I found I was worried about standing for the practices, as I usually suffer from back pain on standing for more than 10 minutes. By the end of the second day I realised my back pain when standing had completely disappeared. I had finally, after over 20 years of suffering from back pain, found that it would disappear whenever I stood in the Qigong stance. Now I know how to stand in life! Sukh led the movements with beautiful music and words that held the space for the movements to be like prayer. We practiced shakti dance on the terrace, while the sun went down on the desert-like landscape that surrounded us. It was a great joy to meet the others on the retreat and to share this time with new friends. I would love to return again and again in future years to experience the magic of this retreat with Sukh – Leila, Scotland

Sukh, just want to write a message of immense gratitude to you for bringing us together and leading the retreat in a powerful yet humble way. It was an extraordinary few days and has filled my body and soul with love, light, and delicious energy. Big hug. Love to all – Sue, Bedfordshire
